Open Country

A 380-metre wild island built for long drives. Gather the flock, hold it together, then push it north through the portal.

Gather, then drive

Open Country has no corral. A round-up zone appears first; hold enough sheep inside it for two seconds and the portal activates. Then the same flock has to move across ridges, tree cover, and shoreline pressure to reach the north objective.

That transition is the scene's core. A tight gather group can become a messy convoy after one bad slope, and recovering the back of the flock without losing the front is where the island earns its size.

Scene shape

  • 380-metre island, more than four times the area of Rolling Hills.
  • Multi-stage objective: gather zone, then portal drive.
  • Best scene for high-count flock movement against terrain and obstacles.

Best for

Open Country rewards planning. Use the camera to read the route before committing the flock, then decide whether to hold shape or sprint ahead to block a break.

Play the wild island

Free camera is useful here. Scout the route before the drive, especially in larger modes.
